Roots typically take 2–3 weeks to grab in summer and 4–6 weeks in cooler months. Daily watering for the first two weeks is critical — that's why we tune irrigation as part of the install.
Which sod is best for Lake County?
St. Augustine (Floratam, CitraBlue) is the most common for shade tolerance and lush look. Zoysia is finer and more drought-tolerant. Bahia is the most affordable and used on larger or rural lots.
